Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am so looking forward to meeting you and photographing this special time in your lives. Thank you again for choosing me – I am incredibly privileged to have so many amazing clients, and I’m excited for you to join them.
Please carefully read and save the information below, and let me know if you have any further questions.

How should I prepare for my session & what do I wear?
Please bring a good selection of outfits/underwear with you. The more choice, the better! Depending on the style of photos you are going for, I usually recommend:
– a black lingerie set
– a white lingerie set
– nude coloured strapless bra/bandeau and underwear (these don’t need to be anything fancy, as they’re just used underneath sheer materials if required)
– non-maternity jeans (or maternity jeans without the extra-high waistband)
– white stretchy tank top
– maxi dress and/or a fitted bodycon dress
I suggest to stay away from too much black/darker coloured clothing, as sometimes this can hide the size of your baby bump.
I am always happy to assist with styling if you want another opinion – just let me know!
In addition to the clothing you bring, I also have a range of fabric drapes and maternity dresses & robes that can be used for your session if desired. Most of these are white in colour and lots are either sheer or lacy.
For men, a plain white tee or casual shirt is absolutely fine. Pair with either jeans or chinos, and this should match every setup. If you have older children, choose something fairly neutral with no obvious logos or pictures. Colour combinations using whites/grey/navy/pastels/denim/khaki/olive/soft florals always work beautifully together.
If you’re ghostly-white (like I am!), it can be tempting to get a fake tan before your session. Unless you’ve had a lot of experience with your salon and they can guarantee no streaks/blotches/tan lines/orange skin, give it a miss. You’ll be surprised how little a tan (or lack thereof!) will affect your
finished photos, I promise!
Professional hair and makeup application is a fantastic idea, if your budget allows. I can suggest an artist local to me, who I often work with, if you don’t already have one in mind.

Clean, natural (non-painted) fingernails are best (if you already have your nails done, that’s not a problem at all! Just ensure they are not chipped or broken, as I can’t guarantee I will be able to fix it in editing).
Comfortable shoes are fine, as they won’t be worn for photos.
How can I pay for the remainder of my package?
Full payment is required on the day of your photo session (minus the Booking Fee deposit already paid). This can be paid via debit/credit card, Afterpay or cash (please note I don’t usually have change available). If you have chosen the maternity/newborn package, only $450 is due at your maternity session.

Where is your studio located?
My studio is located inside my home at 56 Ravensbourne Crescent, North Lakes. You are welcome to park on the driveway if there is room (however my cars are often both there taking up all the space), otherwise on the road right in front of my home is fine. Please let me know in advance if you need wheelchair accessibility, as even though my studio is located on the ground floor, there is a step up into my front door that may need to be ramped.

Do I have to pose nude?
Absolutely not! It’s totally up to you. I’m totally comfortable with nudity so if you’re worried about offending me – you won’t! There are certain poses/styling that is easier to do while either topless or nude, however the majority of these poses can also be done wearing a strapless bra and/or skin-coloured g-string – it’s all in the angles and the editing. My studio is a completely non-judgemental space and I don’t believe in body-shaming – especially when your body is busy growing brand new life!
What if I’m running late for our booking?
Firstly, please don’t stress! Although I prefer to run on time, it is more important to drive safely and arrive a little bit late, than to rush. All I need is for you to send me a quick text to let me know (my number is 0422 402 930), and I will let you know if there are any issues. If you have an outdoor session and running more than 20 minutes late, we may need to reschedule if it is close to sunset, alternatively the session will be cut short. No discount or refund will be applicable.

What happens after our photo session? When can I see my images?
You will be able to see a sneak peek of your images via a blog post here on my website, the very same day of your photo session. Your full gallery will be emailed to you in approximately 2-3 weeks (you can ask me for my current editing time at your session), where you will receive a link to download all the fully edited high-res (full size for printing) and low-res (social media size) images from your maternity session. So quick and easy!
